This website is operated by Base One LLC ("Base One", "we", "us"). For anything in this policy, write to privacy@baseonesoftware.com.
The short version
- This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party trackers.
- Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, not from third-party networks.
- If you contact us, we use what you send to reply to you, and for nothing else.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Information we collect
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organization if you give one, and the content of your message. We use this to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. Please do not send health information, passwords or payment details through the form or by email.
Server logs
Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that records standard request logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser user agent. These logs are used to keep the service secure and working. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. It works with cookies disabled.
How we use information
- To reply to enquiries and provide support.
- To operate, secure and debug the website.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to host this website and to deliver email. They process information on our behalf, under contract, and only for those purposes. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@baseonesoftware.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children
This website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold. To report a vulnerability, see our security page.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes will be flagged on this page before they take effect.
